The LAPD Valley Bureau Community Police Academy is a free program that offers an inside look at law enforcement and police operations. The academy is held at the LAPD Edward Davis Training Facility in Granada Hills. What does the academy include?

Students learn about police operations like traffic enforcement, terrorism awareness, and human trafficking
Students are introduced to various facets of law enforcement

Requirements

18 years or older
Have no convictions for serious crimes
Do not have pending arrest warrants
Do not have pending criminal cases
