I am an experienced community organizer and have made a career of my passion and commitment to the social sector. For 15 years, I have worked with various nonprofit organizations providing direct service and advocating for the rights of others. Today, as Director of Digital Learning and Technology for the Los Angeles-based nonprofit, Youth Policy Institute (YPI), I am dedicated to carrying out the agency’s commitment to providing technology, training, and resources to youth and adults. In my five-year tenure with YPI, I have managed a portfolio of projects totaling more than $9.8 million dollars. Prior to joining YPI, I spent 10 years in the afterschool setting where I provided comprehensive program support to several elementary schools in and around Sylmar. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and am currently an MBA candidate at Loyola Marymount University. As a Sylmar resident, I would be honored to serve my community.
