The Pool Season’s Grand Finale — For Dogs!

Summer’s winding down, but the fun is just getting started for LA County’s four-legged residents. Pooches in the Pool transforms select County pools into a splash zone just for dogs — one last hurrah before the pools close for the season.

Bring your pup for an afternoon of swimming, splashing, and sniffing out new friends. While the dogs paddle and play, you’ll get to swap stories with fellow dog lovers poolside. It’s the kind of simple, joyful outing that reminds you why you got a dog in the first place.

Here’s how it works:

•  Held on the final day of the seasonal pool program — dogs get the pool before it’s drained and cleaned for the year
•  Swim times are separated by dog size, so every pup — from tiny to towering — has room to play safely
•  All participants must follow Dog Day rules and bring a completed form
