More mosquito bites? You're not imagining it.

While there are more than 3,500 mosquito species worldwide, two species are responsible for most mosquito problems in Greater Los Angeles: the native Culex mosquito and the invasive Aedes mosquito. The arrival of Aedes mosquitoes ("ankle biters") has changed the mosquito landscape in Los Angeles, making it more difficult for many of you to enjoy your backyards and outdoor spaces.
