RED FLAG WARNING - FIRE DANGER

National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the mountains and foothills bordering the northern portion of the City, including the Santa Susana and San Gabriel Mountains, beginning Tuesday, August 25, at 10:00 AM through Friday, August 28, at 3:00 PM. 

The mountains and foothills will see elevated fire weather conditions that favor fast-moving fires and active fire behavior throughout the week. Those in the impacted area should be careful to avoid actions that could start a fire, and make sure they are ready to evacuate if a fire were to threaten their home.
