The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who allegedly shot and killed a 14-year-old boy in Sylmar more than 20 years ago.
After more than 20 years of advocacy and securing funding of $ 850,000 from Congresswoman Luz Rivas, Sylmar is finally moving forward with a second fire station, LAFD Station 31, aimed at reducing dangerously high emergency response times in a rapidly growing population and a high-risk, 12-square-mile area.
