LA County Parks is excited to welcome Jenée Robin Ornelas as the County’s first-ever Tribal Liaison!! 
A proud member of the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians, Jenée will lead policy development and outreach efforts to build strong, inclusive relationships between the Department and California Native American tribes and tribal communities.
She will play a critical role in ensuring we meet the goals of the LA County Board of Supervisors Indigenous People’s Initiative, including Land Acknowledgement protocols and integrating tribal needs into LA County Parks programs and initiatives.
